Sam L. Helgerson, Ph.D.

Dr. Helgerson joined Cardio Polymers in July 2007. Dr. Helgerson has 18 years experience in the biotechnology industry. Prior to joining Cardio Polymers, Dr. Helgerson was a Senior R&D Director with the BioSurgery Group of the Baxter Healthcare’s BioScience Division where he directed R&D programs focused on developing biopolymer and bio-therapeutic products for tissue regeneration in cardiovascular disease applications. Dr. Helgerson holds a Ph.D. Degree in Biophysics from Purdue University and a B.S. Degree in Physics from the University of Puget Sound.
